We’re very excited to partner with Clean Sheet – a new progressive toilet paper company that gives 100% of its profits to grassroots organisations fighting for housing justice, climate action, and workers’ rights.
ACORN is one of the first three organisations that Clean Sheet have partnered with and will receive a third of all profits they make.
As Clean Sheet rightly put it, “The idea is simple: big businesses and shareholders don’t need to get richer every time we use the toilet. Instead, our everyday spending, starting with toilet roll, can fund lasting change. From the bottom up.”
“The rich build systems that make them richer. Meanwhile, organisations fighting for ordinary people rely on membership fees and donations to fighting systems designed to exclude us.”
“But Clean Sheet has a way to redress the balance. By organising our everyday spending power, we can redirect £millions into movements fighting for change. Toilet paper is just the start. Once established, Clean Sheet will expand into other everyday essentials like washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets.”
A 100% profit donation model means no fat-cat investors, no shareholder returns, and no big ad spend. That’s why they’re launching via a crowdfunder and relying on people who believe in a fairer society to back them by buying their first box of toilet roll early.
It’s half way to reaching the target, but you (or your household, office or workplace) can help today by following this link…
