Community Engagement Officer
We’re hiring Community Engagement Officers on a temporary basis in Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Leeds, London, Manchester and Norwich to support the union with community outreach – knocking doors, running stalls, and bringing in new members.
If you’ve ever thought about working for ACORN before, this is a great chance to see if it would be a good fit for you. We’re going to be hiring lots of new roles in 2027 (see below) so there will be plenty of opportunities!
The positions will be one day a week for 12 weeks and applications are open to any ACORN member – and ideally those who have recruited a member before. Successful applicants will need to be available to come to Leeds for a training day but this will be flexible.

Key Details:
Hours: 7 a week
Pay: £13.45 p/h (£14.80 in London)
Contract: 12 weeks (from start date)
