Over the years, we’ve fought and won time and time again for our members; from securing £7.2million food vouchers for 30,000 families across Norfolk to successfully stopping a redeveloper hiking heating bills for all residents of the famous Park Hill flats in Sheffield.
We’ve successfully challenged huge rent rises for whole streets of people in Liverpool and kept £millions in the pockets of families in Bristol, twice fighting off plans to scrap council tax reduction for those most in need.
Up and down the country, we’re stopping rent rises, retrieving stolen deposits and getting bailiffs called off for individual members. We’re leading the national fightback against council use of bailiffs to collect council tax debt and for a fairer system.
